“Inside each of us is a natural-born storyteller, waiting to be released.” Serge Sainte Rose is a passionate and eclectic composer/music producer who loves stories. Whether for films, theatre, concert music, documentaries or adverts, Serge loves to compose music, searching for the emotions that could support the stories best. In 2021 and 2022 Serge has been awarded 2 Arts Council grants, to compose, orchestrate and record his creations with a symphony orchestra. One of them, “From Britain To The Caribbean and Back”, a fusion concept of classical orchestral music and caribbean rhythms was performed at St John’s Smith Square.
His compositions have been featured in the documentary “Whales In A Changing Ocean”, which has been awarded at the International Ocean Film festival. Some of his pieces have been placed in various UK TV programs and he has also worked with several established Music production companies including Leland Music, Finger Music, THE, and more.

As well as being a composer, Serge is passionate and versatile Pianist and music producer. He has played alongside artists such as Nelly Furtado (Alan Carr’s, This Morning, Red Or Black), Il Divo, and he currently plays with a pop/gospel choir, the Urban Voices Collective (Closing ceremony of the London Olympics, BAFTA awards, BBC proms with Paloma Faith). He has toured around the world (UK, France, Canada, Portugal, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Cyprus, etc) with many original, function, tribute bands, he has played on the luxury cruise ship The World, and has performed solo at weddings, receptions and corporate events. Some of his past clients include Westfields, AWIN, Google, Bentley, Royal Hospital For Neuro-disability.

As well as being a pianist, Serge is an eclectic music producer intro various genres such as pop, soul, rock. EDM, Indie. He has produced several artists including Dani Sylvia, Kalon Rae, DeeDee Loves Me, Joel O’Cangha, to name a few.

Serge also composes music for adverts/TV programmes. His compositions have been featured in a short documentary, “Whales In A Changing Ocean”, who has been
awarded at 2 film festivals. Some of his compositions have also been placed in UK TV programs, including The Apprentice, The Real Marigold Hotel, Secrets Of The Christmas Factory, Love In The Countryside, as well as an Alton towers TV commercial. He has worked with several established Music production
companies including Leland Music, Finger Music, THE, Native Jungle, Adelphoi, Hear No Evil and more.

Last year he has been awarded the Arts Council DYCP grant to work with a mentor and record some compositions with a 53 piece symphony orchestra. He also worked as Music Associate to award winning composer Terry Davies on The Midnight Bell, by award winning choreographer, Sir Matthew Bourne.
This year Serge has been awarded an Arts Council National Lottery grant to compose music for a unique concert, titled From Britain To The Caribbean and Back, a fusion of classical orchestral music and caribbean rhythms.
